Snowshoe on singletrack only. -The Levis Mound Trail Center The Nordic center Chalet is a welcome addition in it's 3rd year of operation. The mens and womens bathrooms are open during summer and the main building is Open in winter (Snow dependent) during ski season, will be 9:30am-4:30 pm daily. The building features a large warm great room, mens and womens bathrooms and office and patio area. We have also placed an outdoor fire pit and campsites (Summer) nearby. The new 1/2 kilometer trail (Test Track) is completed and ready right out the back door of the chalet. The "Chalet" is also available for partys, meetings, receptions and other functions-please contact the Forestry department at 715-743-5140 for details-we would like the facilities to be used as much as possible! Also, rough camping sites are now located near the trail center. -Neillsville Warriors Cross Country Team Invitationals Neillsville High School is hosted two cross country meets this fall, September 12th saw 12 school compete in our annual invatational, with great success-even after a 2 day rain postponment, the visiting teams were very happy with the course up and around Levis Mound. October 3rd saw the second annual "Cloverbelt Plus Jr. Hi Inviatational, held at Levis Mound also for junior Hi/Middle school teams only. -Trail Improvement Funding -Improvements to the Levis Mound Trail system are being funded through a grant from the state of Wisconsin written by the Clark County Forestry Department.
