BHAMBA What

BHAMBA is a chapter of WORBA, the Wisconsin Off Road Bicycling Association. We're all about trails, and riding opportunities. We want to make sure that there are trails to ride, and that those trails are maintained in good shape. We want to promote riding in the area, and build, map & mark those trails for the locals as well as our visitors. We could really use some help, however, and are looking for members, sponsors, and trailbuilders.

Currently, a lot of our rides are trails like the one you see above on the right. It used to be a logging road, there's a lot of 'em up here that are all eroded and grown up with weeds, but they're fun to ride. There are also a lot of ski trails, and walking trails in the area, which are open to bikes. We hope to map them out and mark them, and if all goes well connect them together with singletrack where we can.

We're also working with Hardscrabble, a local ski area, and hope to have their cross-country ski trails all mapped and marked for biking by the end of the summer, and hope to add some singletrack there, too.
